Queens Baton Relay
After a false start, we are
very pleased to announce that one of North West FM’s announcers was invited
to participate in the Queen’s Baton Relay. He was selected as a 'runner'
(this we had to see!!), on day 44 (Thursday March 9th), relay leg number 69
(figures). He was scheduled to start
his 'run' at about 3:56 pm, from the corner of Robertson Street & Aitken
Road Gisborne, and if he lasted, he’d finish at the junction of Aitken Road
& Kilmore Road, (some 450 metres in all.) Who is this mystery man??? Did he actually complete his run??? Click here and all will be revealed ….
(well almost all).
