He was selected as a 'runner' (this we had to see!!) on day 44 (Thursday March 9th) relay leg number 69 (figures).

He started start his 'run' from the corner of Robertson Street & Aitken Road Gisborne, and finished at the junction of Aitken Road & Kilmore Road, (some 450 metres in all.)
