Course North West FM conducts regular radio training courses for wannabe presenters. Training runs over 4 days on weekends and attendance on all four days is compulsory. The most recent radio training course started

Law The course is ideal for anyone who has dreams of someday working in radio or DJing their own prime-time show. Your dream show might be a podcast, or even an actual radio station - only your imagination holds you back, and there's a wealth of free information on the web to help you forwards after you finish the course here at North West FM. The course will give you a solid knowledge of everything you need to take the next step towards gaining listeners and starting a career in radio. Our training courses are conducted over 4 days from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm each day (on weekends) at our studios at the rear of 100 Middle Street Hadfield (behind the Community Hall). The cost of the training is $99.00 plus your membership fee to join North West FM. Bookings are always necessary as places are limited to 12. A $10 non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve your spot. Following the 4 weekend training days, we
will arrange for you to do mentoring with an on-air Presenter to give you
further radio experience. The Presenter will advise the committee when you
have shown that you have all the necessary practical aspects to be able to do
your own show. Our Program Grid is almost full - it is
possible that places on-air will be via a waiting list very soon. However, if
you are really keen to get on-air, training is always necessary first,
therefore getting on this waiting list will get you there - and you can
