Guitar winner Reg is one of Australia's most popular bush balladeers. This
was recognised in January 2006 when Reg was inducted into the Australian
Country Music Roll of Renown, and also received the OAM for services to
Country Music. Since his
first album with W&G in 1973, he has had 19 record releases of bush
ballads, truck and rodeo songs with Selection Records. He won Golden Guitars
in 1974 (Country Music Hall of Fame),
1981 (The Warrumbungle Mare)
and 1985 (When The Big Mobs Came To Bourke).
Reg
performs as a soloist and also tours with Owen Blundell and Terry Gordon as
the Gunbarrell Highwaymen. His
latest album, For The Love Of My Country
was released in 2006, including the successful radio single A Tribute To Slim. |

Owen is
described by many as the best kept secret in Australia and one of our most
versatile and talented entertainers today. A
feature of his show is his impersonations of many well-known people - the
most popular being Frank J Spencer. Owen has
numerous albums and three videos to his credit, he has appeared many times on
radio and television, and regularly tours with Reg Poole and Terry Gordon as
The Gunbarrell Highwaymen. Owen won
a Most Outstanding Entertainer Award in 1995 and, in 1998, he was named
winner of the TSA Songmaker Award. |
