At the Victorian Amateur Football Association’s 2006 season launch on April 19, 2006, which was attended by over 500 hundred people representing the 70 clubs that field almost 5000 players in 110 games of football each weekend, Glenn was awarded the Media Personality of The Year for 2005 - a great thrill given the size of the Association, and the number of radio and press involved. Previous winners include journalists from the Herald-Sun and The Age, and also various other community radio personalities. The show is obviously well known throughout the competition and this year we have had another club come on board as regulars and also requests from another two to join in.
